Frequently asked questions

Do we charge VAT on our rates listed on our website?
Yes, VAT is applicable on parcels sent to all destinations within the EU. Unfortunately we are not exempt from charging VAT on our rates - unlike the Royal Mail. However, if you are VAT registered then you will be able to reclaim the VAT in the normal manner.

What are our delivery times?
For UK parcels we offer a delivery time of Royal Mail 2nd class + 1 day

Note: Royal Mail 2nd Class is our standard service but 1st Class is also available.

For International parcels, the following times apply:

Region Delivery time
Europe: 4-6 working days
North America: 5-6 working days
ROW: 6-8 working days

Note: All of the above times include the transit of your parcels to our hub by our couriers

How do I setup an account with e-parcels.com?
To setup an account with us you will need to provide some information relating to your business - such as trade references or audited accounts - or be willing to deposit a sum of money into our deposit account. Please see details on our Account Application

How can we offer lower postage rates?
e-parcels.com have a contract with the Royal Mail and receive rates which enable us to undercut Royal Mail over-the-counter rates and most Royal Mail contract rates. In addition to offering cheaper rates, we also offer a FREE sorting service meaning that our customers do not need to sort any of their parcels before sending them down to us.

What are our rates?
Please see our rates.

I already have an existing postal contract in place. Why should I use e-parcels.com?
Even though you have a contract with the Royal Mail in place, we may still be able to save you money, depending on the number and weight of parcels you send to both the UK and overseas.

Can I use my own courier instead of e-parcels courier?
You are more than welcome to use your own courier to send your parcels down to us. All that we ask is that they deliver your consignment to our distribution hub no later than 11:30am each weekday.

What should I do if a parcel has not been delivered?
Please report an undelivered parcel

What compensation do you offer in the event that a parcel does not get delivered?
Please see our compensation policy
